Welcome to Murakumo Dojo

Offering training in the Bujinkan for Over 20 Years Rooted in the time-honored traditions of Japanese budō, Murakumo Dojo offers a path of deep study in the nine warrior schools (九流, Kyūryū) within the Bujinkan. For over two decades, we have dedicated ourselves to transmitting these teachings with integrity, discipline, and respect.

We train in the combat arts of the samurai and ninja, passed down through Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi, Sōke of the Bujinkan Dōjō. These include schools specializing in unarmed combat, weapons, battlefield tactics, joint locks, throws, and evasion — all built upon the foundations of kamae (posture), kūkan (space), and kuzushi (balance breaking).

Weapons & Strategy

From sword and staff to battlefield tactics, students develop skill through weapons training grounded in real combat scenarios.
